“Coastal Baths” 2023, San Jose Walls Mural Festival

I was chosen to paint a mural as part of San Jose Walls, in order to beautify the Guadalupe creek trail, a long stretch of bike/walking trail that runs through downtown San Jose. This was my first large outdoor mural and I thoroughly enjoyed working on this! You can find the mural at the intersection of Park ave and Woz or the entrance to 87 freeway, underneath the road.

“Kaizen Salon Mural” 2023- This mural was a commission for a salon in Japantown, San Jose. I had a lot of freedom and really enjoyed working with so many bright colors and sparkles!

“Pigeon’s Rollerskate Shop” 2019 This was my first ever mural, commissioned by the owner of a rollerskate shop in Long Beach, CA. I love how the colors we chose really tied into the colors of the skates and displays in the shop!

“Tres Gatos Coffee Shop” 2022- This mural was part of the Midvale Mural Festival in Utah, painted on the old brick driveway of a cute coffee shop! This mural was a little challenging because it was so long (60ft) and a lot of the bricks were super old and crumbly. I had fun and learned to use spray paints more for this one!

“Moment Japantown” 2024- This mural is on the side of a storefront that I share with San Jose Made and two other artists, Thousandskies and Le Petit Elefant. We wanted to create a mural that showed off all of our different characters, and so I drew one of my girls holding merch and surrounded by some of theirs and my own characters. It was a super fun collaboration, and I worked on this for about four days, it debuted at the Nikkei Matsuri festival in April 2024.

I am always looking to work on more murals, something about creating something so large and immersive is amazing. Its the best feeling when I hear that my art makes someone’s commute better! If you have a wall you need painted please feel free to reach out to hello@jacquelindeleon.com
