GROW was a solo exhibition by Jacquelin de Leon, hosted at the Arsenal in San Jose, California in June 2017. It included several new works created with watercolors on wooden canvas panels, that revolved around the literal and figurative concept of growth.

For this series of illustrations, Jacquelin took a natural approach and decided to paint with watercolors on wood. The texture of the wood grain incorporated with the natural figures and flora of the imagery work together smoothly. She carefully prepared each wooden canvas to thoroughly absorb watercolors without bleeding, and painted meticulous foliage surrounding her characters. This series brought together the artists love for interior design, plants, textures, and attention to detail.
